Practice Profile

Gerald's practice focuses principally on high end personal injuries and professional negligence. He is regularly instructed in substantial personal injury litigations involving claims of traumatic brain injury and cervical spinal injury. A significant workload relates to commercial disputes arising out of matters such as solicitor and accountant/auditor negligence.

Gerald has acquired experience in all aspects of advocacy throughout his career, which includes service as an Advocate Depute (2001–2003). Disputes of all sorts come under Gerald's remit; generally he is instructed in matters where a robust approach is called for and attention to detail is a prerequisite for presentation of the case.
