Practice Profile

Ceit-Anna specialises in family law and child law, appearing in the Court of Session and in the sheriff courts across Scotland. She has many years of experience in litigation arising from the breakdown of relationships including financial provision on divorce and financial claims on the breakdown of cohabitation. She is regularly instructed in disputes involving children including residence, contact and relocation cases. She is experienced in dealing with applications under the Hague Convention and with applications for permanence orders and adoption. She is frequently appointed by the Court as a curator ad litem and reporting officer and as a child welfare reporter.

Prior to calling to the bar Ceit-Anna was an Associate in private practice in Edinburgh. Between 2009 and 2016, she was a part time tutor at the University of Edinburgh. She has been a Reporter for Session Cases since 2013. In 2016 she became a Trustee of Bright Light Relationship Counselling and was appointed a Legal Assessor to the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
